Firstly, you should contact your bank/broker to discuss your finances and in particular, to ascertain the amount the bank will lend to you to purchase the land allotment and/or house and land package.

Secondly, you should discuss the land allotment options available with our Riverlea Land Sales Consultant or if you are working with a Riverlea Builder partner, discuss the land allotment availability with them.

Once you have decided on the land allotment you wish to purchase, you will be required to enter into a Land Sale Contract and pay the required deposit.

Yes, there is a broad range of reputable Home Builders available to choose from who have partnered with us to provide a wide selection of quality homes, or you can arrange your own Home Builder, as long as the Riverlea Design Guidelines, encumbrances registered on your allotment and any other applicable Authority requirements are complied with.

You will need to appoint a conveyancer or solicitor who will act on your behalf to ‘settle’ the purchase of your land allotment in conjunction with our Riverlea conveyancer and your lending institution. Settlement will take place 14 days from when we provide you with notice that the Plan of Division (which registers your separate allotment) is registered at the Land Titles Office.

Your conveyancer will explain this further for you, and our Riverlea Land Sales Consultant will be in regular contact to communicate timing of the Plan deposit and settlement.

The deposit is 5% of the land sale contract purchase price, with options in place for affordable ‘low deposit’ finance packages. Please contact our Riverlea Land Sales Consultant team for further details in relation to these options.

Construction of your home needs to commence within 12 months of settlement of your land allotment and be completed, including garage, driveway, fencing and retaining walls within 2 years of settlement.

Potable water, sewer, gas, NBN and electricity supply will all be provided to the boundary of your allotment.

Adelaide Metro has expanded its bus services to Riverlea Park following a public transport plan agreed upon and funded by Walker Corporation with the State Government. As the Riverlea project develops, we will work towards expanding the public transport network to meet the demand from our residents.

We anticipate establishing new education facilities ranging from pre-school, primary through to secondary schools established at Riverlea as our community grows, subject to appropriate Authority approvals. Our master plan allows for multiple school campuses to service the Riverlea community’s educational needs.

The Palms Shopping Village will be the first major retail centre in the community, including medical, pathology, cafes, eateries, services and more. Our vision extends to progressively expand the quality and diversity of our retail and commercial offerings as the Riverlea community grows.
